The Hokien religious procession today was a very grand affair, a great deal of money having been spent upon it, all the designs being very ornamental. The Hokiens only hold their procession once every three years. The original one came off on the 31st October, and this is the return one, to bring back their Datu or Joss to the temple. The Teo Chew, Keh, Macao, and Hylam tribes, hold their return procession on the 15th instant.

今天的闽帮宗教赛会非常盛大，花了很多钱，设计极尽缀饰之能。闽帮迎神赛会每三年举行一次。原来迎神游行是在10 月31日。这回是恭送他们的“拿督”或神祗回銮。潮、客、粤及海南帮则于同月15日举行送神回銮。
